Custom designed by Milaeger's! Our Williamsburg has been designed with ornament collectors in mind! Incredible strength in the branches, all the way to the tip. Lots of space to decorate! And this tree is the most realistic tree we've ever designed!

At Milaeger's, we feel that an "Almost Real" tree should be exactly what its name requires. Our exclusive trees are carefully designed to mimic natural trees - selecting the admirable characteristics, such as needle shape, branch configuration, and silhouette while deleting the undesirable traits, such as drooping branches and needle drop.

The inspiration for the Williamsburg came from an exquisite fresh Christmas tree in the lobby of the Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg, Virginia. The tree had a magnificent presence with its multiple layers of broad branches - a perfect setting for a wonderful ornament collection.

The silhouette was sketched and a live branch sample was sent to the finest tree maker in China since molded needles and branch tips are not produced in the United States. The newly created branches featured lifelike natural branches with clusters of molded tips jutting out and then retreating repeatedly along the spine of the branch - almost like a series of peninsulas along a coastline. No filler poly-vinyl material was used.

When the actual silhouette of the tree was designed, great care was taken to emphasize the natural in-out layering so evident on many natural trees. The benefit for the decorator is immediately obvious, for, in addition to preserving the silhouette of a real tree, the irregular open spaces offer great opportunities for placement of larger ornaments and icicles. The result was a remarkable tree, dramatically different from any tree that had ever been made. While many companies were cutting costs and seeking to produce a cheaper tree, the Williamsburg was created to be the finest, most magnificent tree dedicated to ornament enthusiasts who would appreciate the attention to detail that was required to make this tree.

 

WARRANTY:

Trees that are exclusive to Milaeger's have a ten year warranty on tree parts, such as pole, branches, stand, etc. Milaeger's will, at the company's discretion, repair or replace any tree that is defective due to faulty workmanship, manufacturer's defect, or defective parts. If the tree needs to be replaced but is no longer in production, a tree credit for the purchase price of the tree (without lights), prorated according to age of the tree, will be issued. This credit is only good towards another tree.
