Milaeger's Microgreens

In 2013, Milaeger's wanted to grow in a much different way. They wanted to be able to grow and supply local restaurants and markets with good, healthy local food. They currently have one greenhouse dedicated to over 15 different lettuce varieties and another section of a greenhouse for microgreens and wheatgrass. They are continuing to build and grow their efforts by reaching out to local communities. New workshops and educational seminars are being offered to teach others how to grow their own microgreens and lettuce for personal use.

They can be used like sprouts as a garnish, salad sandwiches, soups, stir-fries, pizza, and even on hamburgers! Stock up on microgreens from our coolers at either store location. Our Milaeger greens can be purchased at both Milaeger's locations, Piggly Wiggly on Washington Avenue, Erie Street, and in Oak Creek, Woodman's Oak Creek and Kenosha, and Carriage House Liquor.
