Emotional Health with Essential Oils Workshop

Feeling overwhelmed, stressed or lacking energy? Maybe anxiety is taking over your life? Or do you not have the determination or drive that you wish you had? It's time to take a look at how to naturally gain control of your emotions with essential oils! This class will give you great ideas and oil recommendations for emotional health. Plus, this is a make-it-take-it night where you can make one spray and one rollerball to take home!
   
  Fairy Princess Party
Saturday, July 29th
11am-1pm • Racine Store

Every little girl’s dream is to step inside the world of make-believe!

Activities include games, cookie decorating, dancing and professional face painting by Sunflower Artistry! Also each child will make a fairy garden with keepsake fairy and miniature plants. Includes moss and stones.

Recommended for ages 3-8. Cost is $32 plus tax and includes a light lunch for child and a guardian as well as the child's fairy garden. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch for additional adults is $5 each plus tax.

We suggest each little girl dress in a fairy or princess costume.

Farm to Table Dinner
Saturday, August 5th
6pm • Racine Store

Come and enjoy a quintessential farm to table dining experience in the intimate setting of our beautifully decorated candlelit greenhouse with retractable roof, under the stars. Feast on culinary delights made with fresh, local ingredients from our Great Lakes Farmers Market farmers and bakers. Cocktail hour will feature farm fresh appetizers, signature drinks, and beer sampling from Rustic Road Brewery. Five course dinner expertly prepared by local award-winning chef, Peter Sandroni, from La Merenda and Engine Co. #3. Exclusive wine pairing with each course. Live music.

The Southeastern Antique Power and Collectible Society and several other antique tractor owners will be bringing their tractors and several antique farm equipment items for you to see! Great activities for the kids including making their own jump rope with a vintage crank! Live Music by County Crossings!

Sample 115 heirloom and hybrid tomatoes and 40 kinds of peppers.  The tasting and food samples are free!  Also enjoy Tequila and Wine Tasting. Fresh food items and beverages will be for sale, including salsas and nachos, bruschetta, beer, sangria, wine, and Bloody Marys, and of course, tomatoes and peppers! Master Gardeners from the University of Wisconsin-Extension Horticultural Program will answer all your garden questions.
   
Oktoberfest at the Market

Come and be a part of a Milaeger tradition at the Great Lakes Farmers Market! Enjoy a fun filled day at the market with authentic German cuisine, pretzels and local ice cold beer & root beer! Dance and be entertained by authentic German band, Vern and the Originals! Fun activities for kids of all ages, including pumpkin decorating and face painting. Come dressed in your finest Oktoberfest ensemble to compete for prizes!

Holiday Fashion Show
Saturday, October 28th
Sturtevant Store • 1pm

Store opens 9am, doors open 11am

$30 plus tax ticket includes a gift certificate, a chance at thousands of dollars in prizes, storewide discount coupons, a gift bag and refreshments after the show!

Plan ahead! Order a box lunch for just $8 plus tax and have a relaxing lunch in our greenhouse before the show!

Parking at our store is limited - A continuous shuttle will be available from the Sturtevant Municipal Building, just four blocks north of Milaeger's.

   

If you have special handicap requirements, please let our staff know when you make your reservation.  We will make every effort to make the workshops easy and enjoyable for all.

If you are registering for a large group that would like to work close by, please advise our staff when you make your reservation, and we will try to accommodate you.

Please note, tickets are not returnable or refundable. If you can not make an event or workshop, you may transfer the tickets to another person or apply the ticket toward a different event/workshop. Please remember that each workshop is subject to change due to unforeseeable events.  If a workshop is cancelled, we will call the number you provided at registration.

If you would like to reuse your containers from previous years, please contact us for discounted pricing. If you wish to wear gloves at the workshops, please bring your own.  If you forget, Milaeger’s has garden gloves available for purchase.  Please wear typical gardening clothing and sensible shoes.
