I-94 FREEWAY detour directions to Milaeger’s
Temporary Directions to Milaeger’s Racine store at 4838 Douglas Avenue (Hwy 32)
From the south. The Highway K exit is closed for long term construction. We recommend using the 7 Mile Road exit, which is two exits north of Highway K (about 3.5 miles). It is the simplest and most direct route to Milaeger’s. Just exit at 7 Mile Road, go east for about 5.5 miles until you reach Douglas Avenue (Hwy 32). Turn south on Douglas for about 3.2 miles and you will be at Milaeger’s Douglas Ave location.
From the north. Exit at Ryan Road (Hwy 100.) Go east on Ryan Road for 4.2 miles to Highway 32 (at stoplight.) Turn south on 32 for 6.5 miles and you will find us on the right-hand side of the road, just south of Four Mile Road. NOTE: Ryan Road is also in the middle of a long-term reconstruction project. It is passable, but there may be delays. Alternatively, you may want to bypass Ryan Road, continue south to the next exit, 7 Mile Road. Take 7 Mile Road east for 5.5 miles to Douglas Avenue. Go south on Douglas for 3.2 miles to Milaeger’s.
Directions to Milaeger’s Sturtevant store at 8717 Durand Ave (Hwy 11)
From the south. The northbound exit at Durand Avenue (Hwy 11) is closed, so continue north on I-94 past Durand, to the next exit, Washington Avenue (Hwy 20). Take Washington Avenue east for three miles to 90th Street, then south on 90th Street for 1.5 miles to Durand Avenue (Hwy 11.) Turn east on Durand and you will see our store on the right.
From the north. The southbound exit to Durand Avenue (Hwy 11) remains open. Take the Durand exit, and go east on Durand for 3.1 miles and you will see our store on the right. Keep in mind that if you plan to go north after you visit our store, the northbound freeway ramp at Durand Avenue (Hwy 11) is closed. Instead, from Milaeger’s, go west on Durand for a couple of blocks to 90th Street. Then go north on 90th Street for 1.5 miles to Washington Avenue (Hwy 20.) Go west on Washington for three miles, and you will be at the freeway.
