Our first annual orchid festival will feature an astonishing array of blooming orchids. View, photograph and purchase plants from selected quality vendors. The American Orchid Society judges will judge the exhibits. Best in show awards voted on by attendees. Daytime seminars, workshops and kids activities. Details for workshops will be posted soon! Cork Mounted Hanging
Saturday, Feb. 25th

Whether you're an avid orchid grower or just want to try a different growing experience, this is the workshop for you. Give your orchids the closest to its natural environment as possible by mounting them and hanging them in your home. Our orchid experts will help you mount your orchid on natural cork bark. We will teach you how to maintain your new orchid and give you additional tips and tricks for orchid growing success!
Cost for this all-inclusive workshop, including orchid, cork bark, moss, wire & instruction is $30 plus tax.

Sunday, Feb. 26th

Kokedama was a relatively unknown way of keeping plants, but is now taking the world by storm. It is a traditional Japanese art form using moss as a container for planting. Kokedama look exceptional when hanging, or try setting them on a decorative waterproof dish to be displayed. There are some cultures where moss is the symbol of hope, rebirth and resurrection. Come and join us for our workshop and get to know all about Kokedama and make one of your own to take home!
The workshop includes all materials, including orchid, moss and wrapped wire. Cost is $25 plus tax. Click here to register!
Taste of the Orient
Thursday, March 23rd
5pm - 8pm
Join us for our first annual Taste of the Orient event! Our Expo greenhouse will be beautifully decorated - an incredible escape to the Orient! We will be offering a variety of Asian cuisine for purchase including Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Taiwan, Hmong and a Sushi Bar! Try a free sampling of specialty wines and beers. Cocktails and teas also available for purchase. Live music and great entertainment! A fun experience for all ages!
Spring Fashion Show
Saturday, April 1st
Show starts at 1pm
Store opens 9am/Doors open 11am
$30 plus tax ticket includes a gift certificate, a chance at thousands of dollars in prizes, storewide discount coupons, a gift bag and refreshments after the show.

Our most popular workshop! We will help you select plants for sun, part sun or mostly shade. You plant your selections in a 16" fiber pot with a deluxe swivel hanger. Then, we will care for your basket until the weather warms or until May 30th.
Cost for this all-inclusive workshop is $52 plus tax. Pre-register in stores, online or call 800-669-1229.
If you have special handicap requirements, please let our staff know when you make your reservation. We will make every effort to make the workshops easy and enjoyable for all.
If you are registering for a large group that would like to work close by, please advise our staff when you make your reservation, and we will try to accommodate you.
Please note, tickets are not returnable or refundable. If you can not make an event or workshop, you may transfer the tickets to another person or apply the ticket toward a different event/workshop. Please remember that each workshop is subject to change due to unforeseeable events. If a workshop is cancelled, we will call the number you provided at registration.
If you would like to reuse your containers from previous years, please contact us for discounted pricing. If you wish to wear gloves at the workshops, please bring your own. If you forget, Milaeger’s has garden gloves available for purchase. Please wear typical gardening clothing and sensible shoes.
